Is a verb which is done in a simple way in the past. Whether close to now or far from it.
My mother always says home should have a yard.
Grandmother’s yard was big. All of us fitted on the old rug from her dowry in the balcony. There was a big fig tree in the yard. Grandma was sitting on a chair close to the tree watching the water inside the pool and waiting for the pray time.
All of us had memories from some places in the house. All the weddings were in this house. All the photos taken near that fig tree. I don’t remember anything but I saw all those days in my dream.
An usual dream, a ten years old girl in a long floral dress which was too big for her, with long hairs standing in a corner and watch all these happenings.
No one saw me with that dress in that corner, and I am watching every single person who left the house.
